Thanks for replying. I'm exploring possible approaches in tapping the market potential of Filipinos based in Japan and other residents, both citizens and non-citizens, for products and services from the Philippines via marketing through the Internet.
I have noted that it is relatively easier to "break the ice" if one is familiar enough with the cultural background of the other person. Thus, it has been my habit to try to learn as much as may be possible about a particular cultural background, before attempting to launch any marketing pitch. It is the reason why I decided to check this site, from Development Crossing I believe, which is also hosted by Ning.com just like the website that I established: SPHP GLOBAL NETWORK at http://www.sphpglobal.ning.com For additional reference, you can drop in for a visit at: http://www.sphpglobal.ning.com/profile/JMNepomuceno
I took a quick browse of GEWEL site at http://www.gewel.org/e/index.html
Mission Statement
GEWEL is committed to promoting Diversity and Inclusion in the Japanese society, in which people work with fulfillment according to their values and way of life without being constrained by gender, age, and background.
Off hand, I can easily set up a Group Facility for GEWEL in SPHP GLOBAL NETWORK, which shall be linked with the official GEWEL website. It will complement the group facility that I have started for FILIPINOS in JAPAN.
In addition, I wonder if it will be viable for SPHP GLOBAL NETWORK to become the "site associate" based in the PHILIPPINES. Should being a female is a pre-requisite, I can arrange for one of my female associates to be the Lead Representative for transactions between GEWEL and SPHP GLOBAL NETWORK. Whichever way it may go, I'm interested to explore whether there is a market potential for GEWEL's services right here within the Philippines, unless there is already an exclusive arrangement that had been granted to a local player.
Looking forward to explore viable opportunities for synergy.
